What surprised me when I was told, a worker barely produces a teaspoon of honey throughout it's whole life. So how many bees work to produce one jar of retail honey? I would class that as abuse by stealing their produce

That Queen bee certainly has a lot of power!  Interesting how, when the new Queen is taking over if there are any other emerging Queens, she will kill them.

The Queen Bee is certainly busy and I am surprised that she can live up to 7 years.

That was a good article never realised how busy the Queen Bee was and making sure all the bees do there jobs.

The Queen Bee is certainly busy and I am surprised that she can live up to 7 years. Thank you for watching the video and that took me by surprise too, I wonder how many live the 7 years though. Her purpose is to lay eggs and 1,500 a day is such a lot when you think about it.

Thee relationship between the Queen Bee and her colony is the driving force behind all honey. It takes 12 honey bees to produce one single teaspoon of honey, boy they work hard!
